Operators room equipped with air conditioning, two 42 U, 19″ cabinets with UPS
Telemetry station on truck. The GS is mainly composed of :
One 27 dB (1.50 m) S-Band tracking antenna (HYPTRA) with video camera and zoom
One Antenna Control Unit with all operating modes such as RF auto tracking, program track with preloaded data file, slew and manual tracking, GPS tracking
One two channels with PreD combiner receiver (RTR from ZDS)
The DTX 5563 (and DTX 5563-20) telemetry transmitters are designed for operation in harsh environment with PCM/FM (15 Mbps) and SOQPSK (30 Mbps) capabilities in one unit.
Full S-band : 2185 – 2475 MHz
Output power : programmable up to 5 W (DTX 5563) and up to 20 W (DTX 5563-20)
These antennas operating in S-Band or S+C-Bands have been designed for working in vertical/horizontal polarization, for telemetry applications with special conditions of flight and high temperature.
HYPTRA designed a range of antennas using circular polarization with omni-directional azimuth pattern in the S-Band. The marine aluminium antenna base allows to fix the aerial on a mast or on board aerial targets. The aerial is designed for harsh environments : -40°C to +85°C operating temperature, seawater resistant.
In option, when used in reception, the antenna can be equipped with filter and LNA.
This station is designed for signals reception from 1 to 18 GHz in three sub-bands. The feed is can be equipped in option with a YIG filter for short loop tests. It is operated in remote (RS-232C) or local mode.
The station is mainly composed of the following parts :
AA SYSTEL integrates and represents exclusively on-board telemetry transmitters, receivers and amplifiers of VITEM company. VITEM is one of the leaders in these fields.
The main customers of VITEM : Dassault Aviation, Eurocopter (helicopter), French Flight test centers, Chinese Flight test centers.
The VTX 5000 NT/WT series telemetry/video transmitter is built around a state of the art Phase locked loop FM exciter followed by a high efficiency power amplifier. Working in L, or S-Bands, the VTX 5000 NT/WT series transmitter offers a very wideband frequency response from 1 Hz to 40 MHz which permits High Bit Rate (up to 32 Mbps) or color HD video-data transmission. The used technology allows the unit to operate under the environments as found in aircraft applications.
This station is designed for signals reception in L, S and C bands (others bands are available upon request). A friendly Man Machine Interface installed on a PC (Windows OS) allows its remote Monitoring & Control via an Ethernet link.
Reception is made through a 1.20 m / 1.50 m / 1.80 m / 2.40 m / 3.10 m / 4.20 m dish equipped with auto tracking feed in RHCP and LHCP including 0.7 dB NF LNA, and filters.
Auto-tracking in RHCP or LHCP.
Target tracking can be achieved through the two main modes : Auto-tracking or GPS tracking. Auto-tracking uses Single Channel Monopulse technique.
The station mainly composed of the following parts :
External two-axis auto tracking antenna
Electronic compass for automatic north reference
Electronic spirit level for automatic set-up (transportable version)
Intended for use with the VTX 5000 series transmitters, the VTA 5000 series power amplifiers are built around an efficient input RF limiter followed by a high efficiency class C amplifier chain, the spurious purity of which is given by an output RF filter.
The VTX 5000 series transmitter delivers 20 W (or 10 W) constant output power whatever the output level between 17 dBm (50 mW) and 36 dBm (4 W).
Intended for linear amplification or COFDM application the VTA 5040 L power amplifiers is built around an high efficiency class A amplifier chain, the spurious purity of which is given by an output RF filter.
The proposed system is a portable ground station used in S-Band, L-Band or C-Band for data reception and/or transmission with 19 dBi, 21 dBi or 23 dBi gain (S-Band).
Total weight is 45 Kg.
The station is mainly composed of the following parts :
External two-axis auto tracking antenna with flat panel equipped with SCM tracking circuits, LNA and filters
Electronic compass for automatic North reference (option)
Antenna Control Unit (ACU)
TCP/IP link between ACU (PC) and tracking antenna
Tracking receiver (1 or 2 channels) integrated into the pedestal (option)
